Each year, the Jestina Croute Scholarship Foundation will award scholarships to two young adults in the community pursuing higher education. One Jestina Croute Foundation Scholarship is awarded to students pursuing higher education in Louisiana or abroad.
The second scholarship is named after her mother. It is the Pearlie Tanner Jones Foundation Scholarship, awarded to those students pursuing higher education in Louisiana schools.
